When I speak, I start from what I see every day inside innovation: what artificial intelligence makes possible, what it costs the planet, how much we risk depending on it. No jargon.

Today I work as Director, Technology & AI Innovation at WPP Media Italy.

Translating the future into something people can understand, use and choose freely.

Five open questions on AI

I watch them every day from inside one of the world's largest communication groups. They are the questions companies and people should be asking now.

The future always arrives sooner than expected
Every great invention looked like science fiction, until we found it in our pocket. With artificial intelligence it is happening again, only faster: whoever notices in time gains a huge advantage.
When machines start to choose
Assistants that recommend, agents that buy on our behalf. They change how people decide, how brands work and the rules of the market.
The invisible weight of artificial intelligence
Energy, water, emissions: even what seems immaterial leaves a footprint. Measuring it is the first step to making it lighter.
Who holds the keys?
The more we rely on a few tools and a few platforms, the less free we are to choose. Technological dependence can be recognised, and it can be avoided.
Innovation is about people
No tool works if the people using it don't understand it. Artificial intelligence changes every year: the difference is made by those who know how to put it to work.

Curious by trade.

As a child, whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I answered without hesitation: “an inventor”. I spent my days working out how things worked and, above all, how they could work better.

That question followed me into every material: code and circuits, wood and iron. In the early days of home automation I spent hours among cables and control units, trying to understand how a house could look after the people living in it.

I have worked hard on my dreams: I built projects, I won, I lost, and every time I learned something. Today I support innovation at WPP Media in Italy.

The question has stayed the same: how can something new make life better for the people who use it? An innovation is worth as much as the people it reaches. That is why, besides building, I explain.

Curiosity is a superpower. Innovation begins where comfort ends.

Eighteen years, one question

Every path looks like a detour until you look back. Only then do you see it was always the same road.
